Caleb Thomes M.A., LMHC, SPARC

Founder, Counselor & Speaker

Caleb is the founder of Thomas & Associates Counseling & Consulting and brings extensive experience supporting individuals, families and youth through emotional and spiritual challenges. Caleb Thomas is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, and a Sex and Porn Addiction Recovery Coach and Ordained Christian minister.   I serve multicultural men as well as individuals, families and couples who may not always see themselves reflected in traditional mental-health settings.

I meet clients where they are and work alongside them to move toward lasting mental well-being with clarity, confidence and hope. I use holistic solutions-focused, evidence-based methods incorporating emotional, physical and mental well-being thoughtfully integrating faith into the therapeutic healing process when desired.

I have nearly 20 years of experience supporting children, teens and families in depression, anxiety, anger management, couple and family relationships, crisis management as well as life-skills development.

Areas of focus and experience include:

  • Anxiety, depression, anger management, and feeling emotionally stuck
  • Pornography, sexual behaviors, gaming, and digital dependency
  • Couples and family relationships, communication, and trust
  • Crisis support and life-skills development for teens and families
  • Culturally responsive care emphasizing trust, support, and encouragement

I have a keen awareness of the importance of cultural context, representation, and trust for those in minority communities. If you’re struggling with anxiety, depression pornography, or feeling stuck emotionally, I’m here to help you. I offer a respectful space where men, teens, and families can talk openly without fear of pressure or shame.

My dedication is shaped by my own lived experience. As an ordained, non-denominational Christian minister, I have the ability to thoughtfully integrate faith into counseling for clients who desire it. Faith is never required and is always guided by client comfort level and goals. Understanding the effects of poverty, fear, and lack of information, I advocate for therapy as a transformative tool and I work diligently to encourage growth, healing, and empowerment in all clients.
